TLA's ELEL Resource Library has been created to provide you with more information about our Emergent Learning and Enriched Literacy practices.
Emergent Learning: The Learning Alliance uses Emergent Learning strategies to solve compex problems such as the national literacy crisis. Emergent Learning is a framework to use real-time hypotheses and structured learning to create possibilities and develop solutions as they "emerge" from the work that we are doing.
Enriched Literacy: Our core focus at The Learning Alliance is to develop Enriched Literacy strategies to support our educators, students, and families so that we may reach our community's Moonshot Moment goal to have 90% of children reading proficiently by the end of third grade! Our definition of "Enriched Literacy" is one that includes social/emotional, foundational, and applied literacy to create literate, curious, compassionate lifelong learners who will improve our world!
