Did you know that volunteering your time for one hour a week can change a kid’s life forever?  Volunteer to become a reading captain, Bookmobile helper, and much more. All materials and training is provided by The Learning Alliance.

Become a Moonshot Mentor

Become a mentor and advocate for one of our Moonshot students by reading, talking and completing fun activities from our learning kits during one lunch a week.

Become a Reading Tutor

After completing a training in foundational literacy skills, provide reading tutoring to one or two students per week.

Learning Kit Assembly

Host or attend a Learning Kit Assembly Party to help us assemble kits that include books, learning activities, and arts and crafts for Moonshot students.

Become a TLA Advocate

  • Attend a Lunch and Learn to learn more about The Learning Alliance.
  • Arrange a private school tour for you and your friends.
  • Host a cocktail party
