WHAT IS THE "READ. TALK. PLAY. SING. CREATE. CAMPAIGN"?
The “RTPSC” Moonshot Family Partner Campaign is a way for YOU to support our youngest learners by sharing a fun activity or tip for families to enjoy with their child. Each of our activities and tips are shared as a video that can be found in QR Codes throughout Indian River County. By becoming a Moonshot Family Partner, you and your business will be highlighted as a part of this county-wide campaign.

WHY DOES IT MATTER?
From birth to third grade, you “learn to read” so you can then “read to learn”. Literacy is the foundation to all learning, and children need to develop early language and literacy skills so that they will have success in school and life.
When we read, talk, play, sing, and create with a child, we are building the skills they need to thrive in Kindergarten and beyond. These fun activities empower families to be their child’s first teacher.
HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?
- Let us create a short video of you sharing a Read, Talk, Play, Sing, or Create activity.
- Display your custom “RTPSC QR Code Sign” in your window and/or eMail signature (see above).
- Encourage folks to scan the code to view your video. We will add your site to an online “RTPSC Activities Map” and encourage families to visit. Click here to check out our current “RTPSC Activities Map”.
- Promote your participation in the campaign. Challenge your colleagues to do the same. Hand out the RTPSC ‘Bingo Card’ to families who see your sign.
