An Alphabet Created by Our Community
The ABCs of IRC is a Moonshot Community Action Network project created with the ideas, creativity, and participation of community members throughout Indian River County.
Local artist Kelly Williams brought the alphabet to life, turning our community’s ideas into colorful artwork that celebrates the people and places that make Indian River County unique.

The ABCs of IRC was made possible by members of the Moonshot Community Action Network (MCAN) and community partners who contributed their ideas, voices, talents, and connections to bring this project to life.
The words representing each letter were selected with input from our community through in-person and online polls.
We are grateful to the MCAN members, community contributors, partners, and local artist Kelly Williams who helped make the ABCs of IRC possible.
Inspired by Read by 4th
The ABCs of IRC was inspired by the Read by 4th campaign, a collective effort based at the Free Library of Philadelphia that brings the community together around early literacy.
We’re proud to bring that spirit to Indian River County through our own Moonshot approach.
