In 1962, John F. Kennedy inspired our Nation, establishing the Moonshot goal: to land a man on the Moon and safely return by the end of the decade.
We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard.” This Moonshot Goal is a challenge that “… we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one which we intend to win.”
