Dear Friends of TLA and KRC,
TLA and KRC are joining the global #GivingTuesdayNow Movement so together, we can continue giving the gift of literacy in this time of need.
#GivingTuesdayNow is a global day of giving scheduled to take place on May 5, 2020 as an emergency response to the need that has been demonstrated as a result of COVID-19, and will unleash the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.
By donating today, you will help us deliver even more literacy survival kits to families living in poverty to make sure Indian River County’s low-income families have the supplies they need during the COVID-19 crisis to close the reading achievement gap.
These kits have had a tremendous impact on families who lack internet, home libraries, and other resources needed to promote reading and learning at home. Families who receive these Learning Kits have said:
“I am so happy with the materials and activities that came in the April kit. My two children enjoy the kits so much that they get up in the morning and tell me that they want to work on their homework! We can’t wait until next month’s kit arrives.”

Please consider donating today! Every $50 raised helps get Learning Kits into the hands of children whose families do not have the resources to acquire books or learning tools themselves.
